madam u made it rite in Kashmiri dum aloo only grounded dry masala are used…no onion ginger garlic nor tomato are used…. Kashmiri cusine base is curd and milk

I tried it and it came out mind blowing awesome…. my children just loved it. I improvised a little bit and add crushed cashewnut as well to thicken the gravy.
