1 tbsp Coriander seeds
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Poppy seeds
2 Cloves & 3-4 Cinnamon sticks
2 Kashmiri Red Chillies
1 ½ tbsp Dry Coconut (chopped)
1 ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
½ tsp Asafoetida
1 ½ tbsp Ghee
1 Onion, shredded
1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
1 tbsp Cashew nuts
1 Capsicum, cross cut
1 cup Tomato Puree
3 Green Chillies, chopped
8-10 French Beans, chopped&steamed
1 Potato, chopped&steamed
2 Florets Cauliflower, steamed
1 Carrot, chopped&steamed
1/2 cup Green Peas, steamed
Method of preparation:
In a pan add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, poppy seeds, cloves, cinnamon, Kashmiri chillies, dry coconut and dry roast the ingredients.
Deseed the chillies and dry grind the ingredients.
Add turmeric, asafoetida and grind it once again.
Our Masala is ready.
In a pan, heat ghee, add onion, cook it till it’s slightly brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste, cashews, capsicum, saute them for 2 minutes.
Add ground masala, saute it as well and add tomato puree.
Add green chillies, mix well and cook it for 4-5 minutes.
Add all the steamed vegetables, toss them together and add water.
Add salt, coriander leaves, mix well and our vegetable is ready to serve.
