Today we made some traditional Vietnamese food: Bahn Mi!
Since Brenda is Vietnamese and her family has been making these sandwiches all their lives, she decided to show us how it’s done.

INGREDIENTS:
Crispy Baguette
Mayonnaise spread (we used Japanese mayo)
Lemongrass pork
Pickled Carrots
Daikon radish
Cucumbers, sliced into long thin strips
Cilantro
Jalapeños
PORK MARINADE:
1.5lb Pork Tenderloin, cut in long thin slices
1 shallot, minced
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/8 cup lemongrass, finely minced
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 teaspoons of honey
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon oil (vegetable or canola)
Pickled Carrot and Daikon Recipe:
In a bowl, combine 1/2 sugar, the vinegar, and 1 cup lukewarm water, and stir to dissolve sugar. Pour over vegetables.

Good video, Brenda came across as very natural on camera. And the recipe looked interesting, didn’t have the component which scares me away from most Banh Mi recipes :p I’ll try this for sure.

Question is, how does Mike travel all over the world but still manage to make daily vids on about 6 channels consistantly and then still be seen at home in these kinda vids.
