Oxtail or any other beef bone 3lbs
2 gallons water
Yellow Rock sugar

2 medium onions

Must-have items for pho, which is essential for both Northern or Southern Style, are Raw Onion and Green Onion mixed together, put on top of the bowl. Pho, without that combo, is like Cheese Burger without cheese!

You are wasting all the broth, just take a spoon and take out the scum (it just meat protein) it take some time but you are not wasting the broth. Put it on lower temp so it doesn’t disperse and goes into the broth. I take longer but the broth is clear afterward.
