I never used banana with it..but will try..thanks for the video…its acatually called paalappam becose its prepared mostly in coconut milk…:)

hi,,,superb recipe..i just have 1 question..can I prepare it without the coconut water,,becoz in the place where I live we get grated coconut in the stores but not the water…

yes Nithya!! that is another way of preparing aappam.. u can grind some cooked rice (preferably old cooked rice i.e., yesterday’s rice) along with the other ingredients..
