Dang, I really wanted this to work! I read the other troubles about the mochi clumping up and I made sure to be careful. Ended up with a clumpy mess. Not smooth in the least. I made sure to heat the sugar well too

I hate how people think that alot of sugar=diabetes. There’s no research that states this, there’s a correlation but correlation does not equal to causation. That’s like saying that because someone is from a divorced family one shouldn’t mary that person because there’s a correlation on divorce families and children getting divorced in adulthood.

don’t try this recipe. I tried it twice and both times they turned out to be not consistent and it was tooooo sweet because of too much sugar in the recipe.

Guys I seariously would like you to check out the quantities of the ingredients, the water and mochiko made like a rice milk, I fixed it by addig more flour (rice of course) but I ended up like with 3 pounds of dough… so it taked a lot to cook in the steamer, and finally, I did not add all the sugar recipe said, it would have ended up like a hard sugar ball…
start by adding the sugar little by little *dumps a bunch of sugar in* lol
