INGREDIENTS:
1/2 daikon radish
water
1 tbsp uncooked rice (optional)
2 1/2 cups water (enough to cover the daikon radish)
1 tsp instant dashi stock
2 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp mirin
1/2 tsp salt
