Ingredients :

250 gr of Camembert cheese
2 eggs
Sunflower or vegetable oil
Strawberry or raspberry jam

Step 1 : Place eggs into one bowl and breadcrumbs into separate bowl.
Step 2 : Cut the cheese into small sizes.
Step 3 : Take each piece of cheese, dip into the egg, then into the breadcrumbs, back into the egg and breadcrumbs. You need to double coat them.
Step 4 : Heat your pan and then fill it with oil half way and place your cheese balls. Fry them for 2-3 min. Once they are brown, turn them around, you don’t want any cheese oozing out.
Step 5 : Once they are done, place them on a plate with paper towels. It is a good way to get rid of any excess oil.
Step 6 : Plate them with some strawberry or raspberry jam and some berries and serve while hot!

At first I thought, “Jam with melted cheese? Ew” but then I realized it’s salty + sweet, so I think it’s a good idea to be open minded. I mean, who doesn’t like chocolate covered pretzels, yes? So good! I think these might taste really good after all. 🙂
