– 3 tbsp of oil
– ½ tsp of mustard seeds
– 2 green chillies
– fresh curry leaves
– ½ tsp of asofetida
– 2 peeled and chopped potatoes
– ½ cup of green peas
– ¼ cup of water
– 3 cups or 750 ml of water
– 11/2 cup or 280gms of semolina/rava
– 2 tsp of salt
– 1 tsp of sugar
– juice of one lime
– ghee
– ½ cup of freshly grated coconut

– In a pan heat oil then add mustard seeds, green chillies, fresh curry leaves, asofetida, potatoes, green peas and water, cover the lid and let it cook
– Heat some water in other pan
– In the tampering add the semolina and roast it well
– Add salt, sugar and the boiled water, juice of 1 lime and ghee, freshly grated coconut
– Potato and Peas upma is ready to be served.
