Ingredients:-
Sliced bread & butter for toasting
6 eggs
1 ltr. Water
⅛ cup White Vinegar
Salt
Crushed black pepper

Method:-
– Break open eggs in ceramic bowls.
– In a pan add water, white vinegar, salt and bring to a boil.
– Once the water is boiled turn the flame off and wait for 30 seconds.
– After 30 seconds turn the flame on to medium and stir the water.
– Drop the eggs one by one in the water carefully as the water stirs.
– Once done, take out on a plate.

The way Varun was dropping egg after egg in that shallow pan was giving me anxiety lol I love poached eggs but unless you wrap it in cling film, the white tails are inevitable.

Once again I will have to point out that this is totally raw from an Indian taste point of view. Westerners love to eat raw eggs and raw meat(according to them raw egg and raw meat is the only egg/meat to be eaten). but we Indians are different and this is an Indian cooking channel.

I challenge Varun to serve this egg to his mother or children for breakfast… see if anyone in his family is ready to eat this raw egg.

Hmmm, I think that the pan is not deep enough. This way you don’t get a nice mozzarella kind of poached egg… Now it looks more like a poached sunny side up egg.
