How to Make Egg in Bread. Not to be confused with egg bread. It’s simple and quick to prepare and makes an ideal breakfast or when you’re feeling a bit peckish. Serve it with some bacon or sausages and you will have something really tasty.
“ENJOY YOUR BRUNCH”
INGREDIENTS ( for 1 person)
1 – egg.
(duck/hen – your choice).
1 – Basil leaf.
(dried/fresh – chopped).
(optional – although I ‘ve not used but you can chop and sprinkle fresh).
Salt as per taste.
½ tsp – pepper.
(to sprinkle on it).
PASTA & GRAINS:
1 slice of bread.
(whole wheat/white bread/multigrain – any of your choice).
HERBS & SPICES:
½ tsp. – dried oregano.
OIL & VINEGARS:
3 tsp – Olive oil.
1 – anything with sharp pointed edge.
STEP BY STEP:
-In a pan.
-pour little oil.
-let the pan get heated for a minute.
-then lower the flame n keep the same till you put off.
In the meanwhile,
-put a slice of bread on any flat surface.
-with a sharp edge knife make a whole in it; the same way as shown in the video above.
-don’t worry if your circle isn’t look like perfect circle as it doesn’t matter either ways coz at the end you gonna love it 😉
-place the bread in a whole directly into the pan.
-wait for less than a minute and flip.
(you leave it for a minute or two if you want the brown texture).
-now after flipping, break an egg and drop straight away into the whole.
-wait for 2 -3 minutes and take it out and place on your plate.
-I like it semi-cooked and little flowy the yellow part but you can cook and flip to if you want it hard.
-sprinkle salt & pepper along with oregano.
“woah! Now your 2 minutes brunch is ready – FEED YOUR TUMMY AND KILL THE HUNGER” 😉
